Position: Restaurant Manager
Reports to: Director of Operations
Scorpios is looking for a capable Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for all restaurant functions. The Restaurant Manager will have the accountability for providing top quality standards, for the effectiveness of service and for the reduction and control of costs. The successful candidate will supervise and manage the planning, organizing, training, operating and leadership elements that are very crucial in order to reach sales objectives and customer satisfaction. The candidate must be able to create a pleasant and welcoming environment, at all times, for our guests and constantly display feelings of positivism and calmness.
Synchronize the entire restaurant operation, monitoring the shifts/workflow and intervene with corrective actions when needed
Constantly remain guest focused and promote exceptional guest experience
Always react efficiently and proactively to customer’s complaints
Monitor consumption and estimate requirements in stock and supplies, always controlling costs and minimizing unnecessary waste
Cooperate with upper management in order to set quality and performance targets that will increase the profitability of Scorpios Restaurant
Promote an optimistic work environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills that will inspire personnel
Always follow strict hygiene procedures along with the Food & Beverage regulations
Proven working experience as a Restaurant Manager for minimum 4 years in 5* Hotels, High-End Restaurants or comparable, in terms of quality, Beach Compounds
Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration
Wide-ranging food and wine expertise
Excellent knowledge of quality regulations, procedures and protocols
Computer literacy and verified experience concerning restaurant management software and POS
Very good knowledge of English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus
European Union Nationality with available working permission
Stylish and professional appearance combined with a respectful way of conduct, towards Scorpio’s guests and colleagues
Sociable personality with excellent interpersonal skills creating a welcoming atmosphere
