HORIZON with BEDOUIN AND VALERON
Tuesday isn’t just another day but the day with a vibrant night on the horizon. It unfolds with high-pitch cheers and chants to sunset, transposing – with dusk falling – down into whoops and applause to our electroacoustic deep house daimons one by one taking and changing shapes on stage.
Bedouin is a Brooklyn-based production and DJ partnership between nomads Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki, who are creating their own idiosyncratic spell of melodies and rhythms. Together they share an eclectic sonic vision that pulls from diverse influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing, and world travels. Their combined musical backgrounds and ever-evolving taste captures the sensibility of imagination and constantly explores the connection between ourselves and the future.
An omnipresent hero of the local scene, Valeron combines traditional Greek instruments with electronic beats. Recently, he has been exporting his skills internationally through bookings in South Africa, Germany, and Switzerland.
Nour concretized her reputation on the sands of Tulum with residencies at Papaya Playa Project beach club and Gitano, as well as Berlin’s Kater Blau club before moving on to Scorpios Mykonos in 2015. With a sound that’s now turning heads and moving bodies globally, Nour is constantly experimenting, learning, and evolving as a musician.
