HORIZON with Sol Selectas – Sabo, Amentia, Armen Miran

Tuesday isn’t just another day but the day with a vibrant night on the horizon. It unfolds with high-pitch cheers and chants to sunset, transposing – with dusk falling – down into whoops and applause to our electroacoustic deep house daimons one by one taking and changing shapes on stage.

Sol Selectas Records was founded by Sabo, a man famed for his ability to elevate spirits with mystic melodies while keeping it down to earth with heavy, tribal rhythms. As well as Sabo, the Scorpios Sol Selectas nights welcomes Amentia, a classically trained techno-electronica team who infuse disparate genres from blues and jazz to classic and psychedelic rock, and Armen Miran, who whisks up dancefloors with a unique concoction of ambient deep house and Armenian folktronica.

Sabo is a man famed for his ability to elevate spirits with mystic melodies while keeping it down to earth with heavy, tribal rhythms. Aiming to give a platform to artists who share the same passion for deep tribal dance music with folkloric infusions, Sabo created Sol Selectas Records in 2006 in New York.

Amentia is a classically-trained techno-electronica team who infuse disparate genres from blues and jazz to classic and psychedelic rock to create a unified dancefloor.

Revered for his ability to whisk up dance-floor frenzies with a unique concoction of ambient deep house and Armenian folktronica, Armen Miran draws upon a number of worldly influences to inform his own sound. Despite making his name on Armenia’s underground scene, Armen Miran now lives and produces in L.A.
