SCORPIOS UNPLUGGED WITH KERALA DUST (LIVE)
Friday commands to unplug, look inside, look around; to connect with friends and strangers face-to-face. Caressed by the rays of the setting sun, hear us some of these warm evenings switching off completely and some – off partially as we explore the synergistic potential of live electronic and acoustic sound. Barefoot dancing, anyone?
With the heart of a traditional songwriter and the hands of a tech-savvy DJ, Kerala Dust is a three-person live music performance project that blends electronic beats with pop structures. Honing their sound in their south London basement before taking it worldwide, Kerala Dust uses music to explore philosophical questions on topics such as urban anonymity and the futility of contemporary striving.
Nour concretized her reputation on the sands of Tulum with residencies at Papaya Playa Project beach club and Gitano, as well as Berlin’s Kater Blau club before moving on to Scorpios Mykonos in 2015. With a sound that’s now turning heads and moving bodies globally, Nour is constantly experimenting, learning, and evolving as a musician.
