NICO STOJAN

Nico Stojan‘s rise within the Berlin house scene started with a residency inside the famed walls of Bar 25. His sets there always had the Stojan stamp – house with modern injections of jazz and soul .

A classically trained clarinette player, he often surrenders its sound live, weaving it through the lusty mood of his sets – it was only natural that he evolved from DJ to producer.

Collaborating with other artists has been an important role on his journey - leading to projects and remi- xes for the likes of Philip Bader, NU, Pele, Acid Pauli.

MIRA

Even though being the latest discovery of the Bar25 Musician Crowd, Mira is by no means a newco- mer. Behind the decks , Mira convinces with an extraordinary sound and with live-mixing skills that have reached perfection over the years. Whoever witnesses Mira dj-ing will be enchanted by her sets that go under one’s skin. Miras grooves are warm and sexy. They touch the heart and rock the oor. Girls’music? Perhaps.

CHRIS SCHWARZWALDER

Much could be said about self-made man Chris Schwarzwalder, who is both a trained chef and budding DJ. But the years of dedication he has been putting into the crafting of his music can be best apprecia- ted in his (often extended) sets and his recent productions.

Having started to spin Hip-Hop records in his hometown of Frankfurt/Main he eventually ended up in Berlin, where his already very nurtured and rich musical understanding started to fall into place. Disco- vering a party-life that seemed to have no beginning or end, while still cooking full time to live and eat, contrasted with long hours of listening and selecting songs in the isolation and tranquility of his home. All this has shaped his distinctive, slightly plaintive and dark, moll-dominated, but in the end always uplifting style.

His ‚Mirrors‘ EP on Katermukke and ‚Akumal‘ on Laut & Luise, where released to wide acclaim and already show his versatility and nesse. His remixes and co-productions, most prominently for/with Nu and Acid Pauli don‘t do anything but con rm his musical pedigree and make us eagerly await all the marvelous things yet to come from this edging artist.
