In a world of inflated egos and outrageous demands, Yolanda Be Cool, aka
Bondi boys Andy and Matt, have kept their feet on the ground and let their
music do the talking.

The unavoidable worldwide number one breakthrough track, "We No Speak
Americano" sold over 5 million copies and amassed over 200 million
youtube views. Their critically acclaimed album "Ladies and Mentalmen"
released on Sweat It Out / DIM MAK in 2013 featured indigenous Australian
icon Gurrumul, house royalty Crystal Waters and Barbara Tucker, soul
legend Betty Wright and US up & coming rap star Nola Darling. They even
co-own/A&R for the seminal Australian record label Sweat It Out!, home to
artists such as RÜFÜS, What So Not, Motez and many more.
In spite of the success, the boys just want to continue making people dance.

The start of 2015 saw them get back in the studio with Americano
collaborator DCUP and lead to the release of their platinum selling single
"Sugar Man". They swiftly followed this up with one of the tunes of the
summer, ”Soul Makossa (Money)" which spent 5 weeks in Beatport's top 10
and ended up being Beatport’s 3rd-most sold house record of the year. To
kick off 2016, Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup released a tribute to the Beatles,
repurposing Paul McCartney’s instantly relatable lyrics of "From Me to You";
a new summertime anthem has arrived.

They make sample heavy party music that's fun for the clubs but equally at
home on the radio. They cross-over, but they don't sell out. And while they
are down with playing in front of 90,000 people in Morocco as a guest of the
king, they are equally at home in a small basement. Underground cool. Pop
sensibility. It's a rare combination that the guys have mastered and is why
they constantly surprise with their eclectic, housed up dj sets worldwide.
With many more tunes in the pipeline, 2016 - 2020 looks set to be even
bigger than the last 5.

In the past 12 months he's played an eight-hour back 2 back set at Coachella with Seth Troxler and Skream, opened Ushuaïa’s hot underground spot "After Dark", with Black Coffee, and played an exclusive set at Nic Fanciulli’s Social Festival. He DJ’s at Café Mambo Ibiza whenever he is on the island… Not to mention a brand new weekly residency at new bohemian Mykonos hotspot Scorpios.
We’re talking about Kaz James.

On the ones and twos since high school, Greek-Italian-Aussie Kaz was signed by Universal Records at 21 and moved to London from Melbourne.
Since then, Kaz has been globetrotting as a DJ and producer. Holding a residency at Pacha Ibiza for over a decade, from Holy Ship to Stereosonic, Tommorowland to HARD Summer, he’s done them all.

But big gigs have never been all it’s been about for Kaz. Known equally for his off-the-cuff performances as for his main stages, he’s always been in it for the love of house music. A three deck specialist influenced by house great Frankie Knuckles who got Kaz his first gig in Ibiza at 19, as well as the artists he plays alongside—from the ever-knowledgeable Pete Tong to the up-and-coming Mambo Brothers.

Starting the year big Kaz worked on music for the blockbuster soundtrack (Fast And The Furious 7) which peaked at Number 1 in the U.S. Recent months have also seen him collaborating with NY house legend Junior Sanchez, and his own hit single ‘Show Me All Your Love’ released by iconic FFRR label.

Premiered by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 show -Kazjames – Insideyourarmsr1play - and before that, live at Café Mambo during radio 1 weekend, ‘Inside Your Arms’ is the first of two new Balearic house cuts by Kaz James and Ivan Gough (half of L’Tric), a stunning piece of electronica which will leave you lost in its feel good piano vibes and haunting vocals, a perfect sunset track to launch you into the night.

Never one to rest on his laurels, it’s safe to say music isn’t his only success. Kaz is also moving with similar speed in the coffee business, having launched Shoreditch Grind on London’s hip Old Street four years ago with longtime mate David Abrahamovitch; they now have four additional locations with more in the pipeline. His DNA in all the locations runs clear: from the upstairs recording studio at the original Grind to the rock ‘n’ roll vibe throughout the others, the spirit of ‘Kaz James’ has definitely contributed to the brand’s success in a saturated coffee market.

DJ, producer, performer, and entrepreneur… what’s next for Kaz James?

Artists that Kaz has produced alongside……
Macy Gray, Kelis, Limp Bizkit, Chad Hugo (N*E*R*D* / Neptunes), Becky Hill, The Gossip, to name a few.

Generally recognized as a top DJ on the island, most definitely longest-standing and omnipresent figure on the ever-shifting local music scene... Club-hopping residents of Mykonos may have been wondering of his whereabouts – perhaps nervously so noting his partial withdrawal from the staple venues.

Non-residents who are unfamiliar with the local scene may want to know something else. By way of introduction: Dj Valeron began his career in the early 90's performing at various clubs and bars around Greece, including APOKALYPSI, one of the most popular clubs on Corfu, his native island. His career year of 2000 saw him relocating to Athens and soon after becoming a producer releasing a good dozen tracks which registered Valeron in the uplifting House and Afro-Beats genre. Around the mid 2000's he moved to Mykonos winding up at famous Cavo Paradiso to very soon turn into its resident playing alongside some of the most prominent performers such as Αrmin Van Buuren, Jan Carbon, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish, Louie Vega,Anthony Pappa, Above&Beyond, David Morales, Joachim Garraud, Fatboy Slim, Martin Solveig,Hector Romero,Alex Neri, to name a few.

From 2006 up to today, he is the general manager of"Venus Radio", a local radio station widely enjoyed for its programming largely dedicated to independent and new music – with Valeron to a degree setting its cultural agenda and managing the content.

There is no doubt or no limit to this individual, as his name is extending to attract more crowds through the world with international bookings such as the:South Africa (Cape Town),Germany, and the official ambassador of the Mykonos Party in Zurich.
