Islandman  is the manifestation of Istanbul-based producer Tolga Boyuk, an imagined  composer of dreams and stories from another plane. On stage, Islandman  performs as an electro-acoustric trio, conjuring pulsating, African-inspired  rhythms interlaced with mellow electronics, celestial guitars and Turkish  psychedelica. The result feels like the shamanic chant of a distant tribe;  one that is both affective and alluring.
