Job Description

Scorpios is looking for a proficient Reservations Manager who will have the accountability for monitoring the reservations for all the\ departments of Scorpios (i.e. Restaurant, Sun Beds and tables for Party Days. The Reservations Manager has the responsibility to manage guests’ enquiries via telephone, e-mail and personally at Scorpios. The successful applicant will hold a critical strategic role within Scorpios overseeing daily operations and manage both Reservations and Hostess department. The candidate must be able to create a pleasant and welcoming environment, at all times, for our guests and constantly display feelings of positivism and calmness.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire Reservations & Hostess department procedures and processes
  • Assign daily tasks to Reservations and Hostess staff
  • Responsible for the work schedule of the Reservations and Hostess staff
  • Review booked reservations and arrival reports daily
  • Ensure that proper telephone & communication manners are maintained by the Reservations staff at all times
  • Handles all guests’ complaints
  • Ensure adequate handling of repetitive guests and VIP guests
  • Coordinate group/event requests in cooperation with the event Manager
  • Responsible for the smooth communication between the Reservations department and all other departments of Scorpios (i.e. Beach, Parties, Restaurant) in regards to bookings and occupancy
  • Responsible for the production and distribution of all booking reports to relevant Scorpios departments
  • Review no-show and cancelled reservations and report accordingly to Managing Directors regarding performance and actual sales statistics

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a Reservations Manager for minimum 4 years in 5* Hotels, High-End Restaurants or comparable, in terms of quality, Beach Compounds
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Verified knowledge of Reservation’s management software
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office-MS Word, Excel
  • Very good knowledge of English language. Additional languages will be considered a plus
  • European Union Nationality with available working permission
